Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive Office Assistant to provide essential administrative and operational support for our client’s daily office activities. In this role, you will be the backbone of the office, ensuring that operations run smoothly by handling routine tasks, maintaining a structured environment, and providing top-tier support to both staff and visitors.

The ideal candidate is a disciplined professional who takes pride in an organized workspace and possesses the initiative to handle tasks with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

Administrative & Front Desk Support

  • General Assistance: Provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure all departments function effectively.

  • Document Management: Maintain, categorize, and organize physical and digital office files, records, and sensitive documents.

  • Visitor Relations: Assist with front desk duties, including receiving visitors and directing them to the appropriate personnel with professionalism.

Operational & Logistics Support

  • Errand Coordination: Run official errands within the Abuja metropolis as required by management.

  • Environment Maintenance: Ensure the office remains clean, organized, and conducive to professional work at all times.

  • Supply Management: Monitor inventory for office supplies and handle restocking to prevent any operational downtime.

Financial & Staff Support

  • Basic Bookkeeping: Assist with the management of basic financial documents, including organizing receipts and tracking invoices.

  • Operational Aid: Support staff members with their day-to-day needs to enhance overall team productivity.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education:

    • Minimum of an OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant field.

  • Experience:

    • 1–3 years of experience in an administrative, clerical, or office support role.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) is a significant advantage.

  • Core Competencies:

    • Organizational Mastery: Strong time management skills and a sharp eye for detail.

    • Communication: Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

    • Reliability: Must be highly punctual, dependable, and capable of following complex instructions effectively.

    • Residency: Must reside within Abuja, preferably within the town area.
