Job Description:

1. Financial Auditing & Reconciliation

• End-of-Day Audit: Perform comprehensive audits of daily sales, cash intake, and credit card transactions across the restaurant and lounge.

• POS Reconciliation: Verify POS reports against physical receipts, identifying and resolving any discrepancies in revenue or guest charges.

• Journal Posting: Ensure all charges, payments, and adjustments are accurately posted to the general ledger or property management system.

• Cash Security: Secure all cash, receipts, and sensitive financial documents in strict accordance with company security policies.

2. Reporting & Management Support

• Operational Reporting: Prepare and distribute daily financial and operational "Day-End" reports for senior management review.

• Incident Documentation: Coordinate with management regarding any financial irregularities, service issues, or notable events occurring during the shift.

• Audit Trail: Maintain meticulous digital and physical records to ensure 100% audit readiness.

3. Operational Oversight

• Night Operations: Monitor overnight facility activity to ensure compliance with financial controls and high service standards.

• Closing Support: Provide administrative support for the final closing procedures of the fine dining and lounge teams.

• Data Privacy: Maintain absolute confidentiality regarding guest information and company financial data.

Requirements:

Core Attributes

• Reliability: Ability to consistently work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays, with minimal supervision.

• Professionalism: A professional demeanor and the discretion required for an upscale hospitality setting.

• Problem Solving: Excellent ability to resolve transaction errors and guest billing issues independently.

• Setting: Fast-paced, upscale restaurant and lounge environment.

• Expectation: High levels of reliability and the ability to work independently while the rest of the team is off-site.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Coursework in Accounting or Hospitality Management is a major advantage).

• Experience: Previous experience in hospitality, night audit, or a dedicated accounting role is preferred.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency with POS systems and basic accounting software (e.g., Excel, Opera, or Micros).

• Numerical Mastery: Strong numerical accuracy and a "sharp eye" for detail to spot subtle discrepancies.
