Job Description:
- Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven National Sales Manager to lead its commercial operations across Nigeria.
- This is an exciting opportunity for a high-performing pharmaceutical sales leader with a proven track record of driving revenue growth, building high-performing sales teams, and expanding market share within the Nigerian pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute national sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share objectives.
- Lead, coach, and manage regional and field sales teams across the country.
- Drive sales performance through effective territory management, target setting, and performance monitoring.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, healthcare institutions, pharmacies, and strategic stakeholders.
- Identify new business opportunities and market expansion initiatives.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Ensure effective implementation of sales policies, processes, and compliance standards.
- Prepare and present periodic sales performance reports to executive management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 8–10 years' progressive experience in pharmaceutical sales and marketing.
- Demonstrated success in managing national sales operations and achieving ambitious sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the Nigerian pharmaceutical market, distribution channels, and regulatory landscape.
- Extensive industry network and stakeholder relationships.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, communication, and people management skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
