We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

  • For the safe and efficient operation of cranes to support lifting, loading, offloading, positioning, and movement of heavy cargo, equipment, and materials within the terminal.
  • The role ensures compliance with safety regulations and operational procedures to support uninterrupted terminal operations

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate mobile cranes to lift, move, position, and place containers, cargo, and heavy equipment as assigned
  • Strictly adhere to safety procedures, lifting standards, and load charts
  • Ensure safe working areas are maintained during crane operations and coordinate with riggers and signalers
  • Record daily operational logs and report abnormalities, breakdowns, or near misses
  • Execute assigned jobs within agreed timelines while minimizing idle time and rework
  • Carry other related tasks assigned by the line manager

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a BSc or HND from a reputable university.
  • A high level of physical agility, including the ability to bend, climb, and to work in outdoor environments.
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Must be medically fit for the role.
