Job Description:

We are seeking a technically proficient Microsoft 365 & MDM Administrator to lead the management of our cloud ecosystem and global endpoint environment. In this role, you will be the primary architect for user identity, secure collaboration, and mobile device management (MDM). You will ensure that our workforce remains productive and secure, whether they are using corporate-owned hardware or personal devices (BYOD).

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a "security-first" mindset, capable of managing complex migrations, enforcing conditional access, and automating patch management across Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms.

Requirements:

Microsoft 365 & Identity Management

• Service Administration: Manage the full suite of M365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Loop.

• Identity & Access: Oversee users, groups, and licensing through Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory); implement and enforce MFA and Conditional Access policies.

• Email Security: Manage mail flow and configure essential DNS records including MX, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC to prevent spoofing and ensure deliverability.

• Hybrid Environments: Support mailbox migrations and maintain stability in hybrid cloud/on-premise setups.

MDM & Endpoint Security

• Device Enrollment: Enroll and manage a diverse fleet of devices (Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS) using a centralized MDM solution.

• Policy Configuration: Define and deploy security baselines, including encryption (BitLocker/FileVault), password/PIN policies, and VPN/Wi-Fi profiles.

• Remote Management: Provide high-level remote troubleshooting, application deployment, and execute remote wipes on lost or non-compliant devices.

• Compliance Monitoring: Ensure only compliant, healthy devices can access corporate resources, effectively managing the risks associated with BYOD.

Patching & Vulnerability Management

• Automated Deployment: Manage OS and third-party software patching schedules using MDM tools to minimize security risks.

• Risk Assessment: Monitor vulnerabilities and endpoint health, providing regular compliance reports to IT leadership.

Support & Operations

• Technical Support: Serve as the escalation point for complex M365 and device-related issues for end-users.

• Documentation: Maintain up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), system architecture diagrams, and hardware inventories.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience:

  • 3–6 years of hands-on experience specifically in Microsoft 365 and MDM administration.

  • Proven track record in managing endpoint security in a corporate environment.

• Technical Skills:

  • M365 Mastery: Deep knowledge of Exchange Online and Entra ID.

  • Infrastructure: Strong understanding of DNS, TCP/IP, and VPN configurations.

  • Automation: Proficiency in PowerShell for automating administrative tasks.

  • Device Management: Experience with MDM platforms (e.g., Intune, Jamf, or similar) and patch management tools.

• Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

  • Preferred: Microsoft 365 Certified (Administrator Expert) or Azure certifications.

• Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills for translating technical requirements to end-users.

  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple security alerts and support tickets simultaneously.
