We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Description:
- Consultation, Diagnosis and Treatment of all Staff and their dependents including all authorized contracted personnel in Lagos.
- Twice daily visit and review of the in-house hospitalized cases.
- Referral of cases to Medical Specialists that need specialized attention to external clinics, when necessary, based on International best practices.
- Reports on Monthly bases all activities carried out on Monthly bases to the Lagos SMO.
- Counselling of patients on health matters and follow up on referral cases.
- Regular contact with the external specialists in our referral centers.
- Annual medical check for spouses and retirees (including retiree spouses) and reviews.
- Carry out other ancillary services as may be requested from time to time by the Chief Medical Officer.
- Accurate diagnosis and treatment as the opposite could endanger life or worsen existing medical conditions.
- Failure of High professional and ethical standards could result in litigation.
- Generation of accurate medical reports and maintaining confidentiality of all activities.
- The position works in tandem with other professionals of the Division for effective provision of services, and looks up to the hierarchy for direction on policy matters
- High level of expectation from the clients.
- Environmental difficulties can arise from unrealistic/unreasonable expectations and demands.
- Compliance with rules of relevant regulatory authorities (Medical and Dental Council).
- Good working relationship with other medical team members internally and external
Requirements:
- Professional experience: MBBS (a minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience), with experience in Emergency Medicine. Up-to-date knowledge in global medical issues.
- Good communication skill and networking with other professional colleagues.
