Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and technically elite Mechanical Engineer to anchor the design and procurement engine of our Ikoyi-based operations. In a specialized high-end construction landscape where project momentum is dictated by the speed of approval and the precision of the installation success is defined by "Mechanical Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize architectural intent with the clinical precision required for AutoCAD Shop Drawings, Material Take-offs, and MEP Submittals. This role is designed for a "Technical Architect" with a B.Eng and at least 5 years of experience who can blend "Drafting Grit" (mastering complex mechanical layouts) with the "Strategic Agility" required to assist MEP leads in material vetting and submission.

Requirements:

1. Orchestration & Design Governance

• Drafting Sovereignty: Prepare detailed and accurate shop drawings using AutoCAD, acting as the primary "Source of Installation Clarity."

• Design Architecture: Utilize mechanical design principles to ensure drawings meet site requirements and building codes, providing the "Structural Foundation" for flawless MEP execution.

• Integrity Stewardship: Translate complex mechanical designs into actionable field documents, ensuring the "Source of Engineering Precision" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Tactical Resilience & Material Logic

• Quantification Sovereignty: Execute precise material take-offs from engineering drawings, acting as the primary "Source of Procurement Accuracy."

• Submittal Architecture: Assist the MEP Engineer in preparing comprehensive material submittals, providing the "Functional Foundation" for vendor approvals and project compliance.

• Construction Stewardship: Bridge the gap between the main office design and site implementation through rigorous documentation, maintaining the "Source of Technical Continuity."

3. Operational Integrity & Professional Power

• Office Sovereignty: Manage technical documentation and material registries from the main office, acting as the primary "Source of Administrative Reliability."

• Development Architecture: Maintain updated CAD libraries and material standards for building projects, providing the "Relational Foundation" for long-term project success.

• Velocity Logic: Utilize 5+ years of construction expertise and AutoCAD proficiency to resolve design clashes in real-time, maximizing the "Source of Project Throughput."

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) in Mechanical Engineering.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience specifically in building construction projects.

• Software Power: Expert knowledge of AutoCAD for mechanical design and shop drawing preparation.
