Job Description:

We are seeking a creative and high-energy Marketing Officer to join our team in Ibadan. In this role, you will be the face of our travel services, responsible for turning wanderlust into bookings. You will drive the promotion of our visa services, holiday packages, and international tours through a mix of digital storytelling and strategic lead generation. The ideal candidate is a social media-savvy professional who knows how to capture the excitement of travel and convert it into a thriving pipeline of client enquiries.

Requirements:

Brand Promotion & Campaigns

• Package Promotion: Create buzz and market demand for our visa assistance services, curated tours, and holiday packages.

• Campaign Execution: Launch and manage targeted marketing campaigns and direct marketing initiatives to put our deals in front of the right travelers.

• Brand Visibility: Execute strategies designed to improve brand recognition and establish the agency as a leader in the Ibadan travel market.

Lead Generation & Conversion

• Enquiry Management: Utilize social media, online advertising, and referral networks to attract potential clients and generate high-quality enquiries.

• Conversion Focus: Actively transition general interest into concrete enquiries, ensuring a steady flow of leads for the sales team.

• Market Targeting: Identify and target specific audience segments (e.g., corporate travelers, honeymooners, students) to maximize booking potential.

Social Media & Content Strategy

• Content Creation: Produce and post engaging daily content across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, highlighting travel deals, destination videos, and client testimonials.

• Community Management: Engage with followers, respond to comments, and maintain an active, vibrant presence across all social platforms.

• Strategy Planning: Develop monthly content calendars that align with peak travel seasons and holiday periods.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Marketing, Mass Communication, or a related field.

• Experience: Proven experience in digital marketing or social media management (experience in the Travel and Tours industry is a significant advantage).

• Digital Proficiency: Mastery of social media algorithms, content creation apps (Canva, CapCut, etc.), and basic online advertising tools.

• Communication: Strong persuasive writing skills and the ability to speak confidently about travel products.

• Location: Candidates must be resident in or willing to work full-time in Ibadan, Oyo State.
