Job Description:

We are seeking a high-integrity and technically proficient LPG Plant Manager to oversee the management, operations, and safety of our gas facility in Usiefrun. This role requires a blend of operational excellence, rigorous safety management, and commercial awareness to drive profitability while maintaining zero-harm standards.

The successful candidate will take full ownership of the plant's lifecycle from product discharge and storage to staff supervision and market analysis ensuring that all activities align with approved budgets and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

Operations & Staff Management

• Daily Oversight: Manage all gas plant operations and supervise the activities of LPG cashiers and plant operators.

• Product Handling: Oversee the due process for the discharge of products, implementing strict controls to minimize stock loss or fraud.

• Resource Deployment: Effectively deploy staff to drive sales and operational efficiency in line with established budgets.

Safety, Technical & Maintenance

• Technical Management: Manage all technical aspects of the storage facility and plant equipment to ensure 100% uptime.

• HSE Standards: Facilitate regular facility inspections, maintain high Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards, and implement preventive maintenance measures.

• Logistics: Coordinate daily stock requests from the LPG terminal and ensure the seamless receipt and dispatch of products.

Commercial Reporting & Growth

• Financial Oversight: Evaluate daily sales records and verify bank lodgments; compile periodic reports for the LPG Coordinator.

• Market Intelligence: Monitor and report on local market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to refine the company's LPG offering.

• Business Development: Analyze operational and marketing results to develop strategic interventions that promote plant growth.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: * Second-Class Upper (B.Sc.) or HND Upper Credit in Engineering.

• Experience: * 1–4 years of experience in a technical, operational, or supervisory role (preferably within the Oil & Gas or LPG sector).

• Core Competencies:

  • Integrity: Absolute honesty and commitment to fraud prevention.

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to compile, analyze, and consolidate sales and operational data.

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of gas plant equipment and storage facility management.

  • Leadership: Self-motivated with the ability to manage and develop a technical team.
