Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Logistics Assistant to anchor the operational engine of our upcoming project in Katsina. In a specialized development landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the speed of procurement and the precision of the donor-compliant audit trail success is defined by "Supply Chain Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize field requirements with the clinical precision required for Asset Tagging, Fleet Management, and Warehouse Operations. This role is designed for a "Logistics Architect" with a Bachelor’s Degree and 2–3 years of experience (preferably in the NGO sector) who can blend "Procurement Grit" (processing bids and purchase requests) with the "Strategic Agility" required to manage inventory and travel arrangements across the Katsina duty station.
Requirements:
1. Orchestration & Procurement Governance
Procurement Sovereignty: Support the preparation and processing of bids and purchase requests with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Statutory Compliance."
Documentation Architecture: Maintain elite filing systems for all logistics activities, providing the "Structural Foundation" for successful internal and external audits.
Integrity Stewardship: Assist in implementing procedures in line with organizational and donor regulations, ensuring the "Source of Institutional Credibility" is elite and uncompromised.
2. Tactical Resilience & Warehouse Logic
Inventory Sovereignty: Manage warehouse and store operations including regular asset tagging and stock counts, acting as the primary "Source of Asset Security."
Chain-of-Custody Architecture: Follow up on Goods Received Notes (GRN) and Job Completion Certificates, providing the "Functional Foundation" for verified service delivery.
Asset Stewardship: Ensure regular inventory updates and asset tracking, maintaining the "Source of Resource Accountability."
3. Operational Integrity & Fleet Power
Mobility Sovereignty: Coordinate vehicle requests and travel arrangements for program teams, acting as the primary "Source of Field Mobility."
Support Architecture: Provide overall logistics management for the Katsina location, providing the "Relational Foundation" for project-wide efficiency.
Velocity Logic: Utilize 2–3 years of NGO logistics expertise to resolve supply bottlenecks in real-time, maximizing the "Source of Project Throughput" in Katsina.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics and Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 2 – 3 years of relevant experience (NGO or development sector experience is highly preferred).
Domain Power: Basic knowledge of stock counts, assets, inventories, and fleet management.
