Job Description:

We are looking for a highly organized and data-driven Logistics and Warehouse Manager to join our team in Port Harcourt. You will oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, ensuring seamless material management, efficient inventory control, and optimized transportation operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of warehouse accuracy, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring that all logistics activities support our organizational goals for cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.

Requirements:

• Inventory & Stock Management: Manage all stock requisitions, material distribution, and secure storage of goods within the central warehouse.

• Operational Excellence: Supervise the receipt and issuance of goods, ensuring strict adherence to quantity, quality, timing, and cost-efficiency standards.

• Logistics & Distribution: Coordinate and monitor the end-to-end movement of goods from suppliers to storage units, optimizing routes and transit times.

• Transportation Oversight: Manage transportation operations to ensure timely, reliable, and cost-effective delivery of materials.

• ERP & Documentation: Execute precise data entry for all materials received and transferred via the company’s ERP system. Ensure all documentation for supplier payments is processed and submitted to the procurement and accounts departments promptly.

• Stock Reporting: Maintain optimal stock levels and provide weekly reporting on critical stock positions to the Head of Supply Chain Management to prevent supply disruptions.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Excel (for inventory tracking and data analysis).

  • Experience using ERP software for warehouse and logistics management.

• Core Competencies: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, inventory control proficiency, and the ability to manage complex transportation and distribution networks.
