Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Lead Pipeline Engineer to oversee the design, integrity, and operational efficiency of our pipeline infrastructure. As a senior-level technical lead, you will manage complex engineering projects, mentor junior engineering staff, and ensure all activities align with international safety standards and project requirements. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep expertise in the oil and gas or infrastructure sector, capable of managing large-scale assets and delivering high-stakes projects on time and within budget in a demanding operational environment.

Requirements:

• Engineering Leadership: Provide technical authority and leadership for all pipeline-related engineering designs, analysis, and project execution.

• Strategic Oversight: Develop and implement long-term strategies for pipeline integrity, maintenance, and expansion projects.

• Compliance & Standards: Ensure all pipeline design and construction activities strictly adhere to industry regulations, safety codes (e.g., ASME, API), and environmental policies.

• Project Management: Oversee the lifecycle of pipeline projects, from feasibility studies and detailed design through to procurement, installation, and commissioning.

• Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Coordinate with project stakeholders, government agencies, and third-party contractors to ensure seamless project delivery.

• Mentorship: Guide and mentor a team of engineers, fostering technical excellence and professional development within the department.

• Risk Management: Perform technical reviews, risk assessments, and quality audits to identify potential system vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Mechanical, Civil, or Pipeline Engineering (or a closely related discipline).

• Experience: 12+ years of extensive, progressive experience in pipeline engineering, design, and construction within the oil and gas or infrastructure sectors.
