Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and strategically elite Key Account Manager to anchor the fragrance engine of Givaudan in West Africa. In the sophisticated consumer landscapes of Nigeria and Cameroon, success is defined by "Sensory Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize complex fragrance technologies with the clinical precision required for Strategic Account Planning, Market Share Expansion, and Global Brand Fidelity. This role is designed for a "Portfolio Architect" with 5+ years of B2B experience in the Fragrance, Ingredients, or Specialty Chemicals sectors who can blend "Olfactive Passion" (promoting game-changing solutions) with the "Commercial Agility" required to defend and grow multi-million dollar account pipelines.

Requirements:

1. Portfolio Orchestration & Growth Leadership

  • Market Sovereignty: Develop and execute strategic account plans for the Nigeria/Cameroon region, acting as the primary "Source of Market Penetration."

  • Growth Architecture: Defend existing business while aggressively identifying new opportunities in Personal, Home, and Fabric Care, providing the "Structural Foundation" for Givaudan's purpose.

  • Fiscal Stewardship: Monitor sales, gross profit, and win rates against rigorous targets, taking clinical corrective actions to ensure the "Source of Financial Performance" remains optimized.

2. Innovation Resilience & Brief Management

  • Project Sovereignty: Lead and manage customer briefs and proactive innovation projects with millimetric focus, acting as the "Center Point" for cross-functional success.

  • Tech Architecture: Position Givaudan’s proprietary fragrance technologies by identifying specific value drivers, ensuring the "Source of Customer Competitive Advantage" is realized.

  • Trend Stewardship: Monitor olfactive trends and competitor product development, providing the "Analytical Foundation" for proactive customer engagement.

3. Relationship Integrity & Global Power

  • Stakeholder Sovereignty: Cultivate elite relationships with internal and external decision-makers, acting as the primary "Source of Strategic Influence."

  • Resource Architecture: Build a high-fidelity project pipeline and manage the efficient use of Givaudan’s global resources, optimizing the "Source of Operational Efficiency."

Qualifications and Skills:

Technical Mastery

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant commercial or scientific discipline.

  • Experience: 5+ years of relevant B2B track record in Fragrance, Flavors, Chemicals, or Cosmetics sectors.

  • Industry Intel: Strong existing customer network and deep knowledge of West African competition.
