Mikano International is a Nigerian company in the power generation, automobile, steel fabrication sectors. This company offers sales, maintenance, assembly and distribution of power generation products.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Description:
- Assist in maintenance of electrical systems, including generators, transformers, switchgear, and control panels.
- Support in monitoring and analyzing electrical parameters like voltage, current, frequency, and power factor.
- Help in fault detection and troubleshooting under guidance.
- Participate in the installation and testing of new electrical equipment.
- Monitor SCADA and control systems, record parameters, and report abnormalities.
- Maintain logs and technical documentation.
Requirements:
- Interested candidates should possess an HND / OND / B.Eng Degree with 1 - 2 years work experience.
Skills & Tools:
- Basic knowledge of power systems and protection devices.
- Familiarity with electrical drawings and schematics.
- Ability to use testing instruments (multimeter, insulation tester, etc).
Learning Opportunities:
- Generator excitation systems.
- Power distribution systems.
- Control and automation in power generation
