Job Description:
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
- Update account receivables and issue invoices.
- Update account payables and perform reconciliation.
- Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statement and other financial statements according to legal and company’s accounting and financial guidelines.
- Assist in reviewing expenses.
- Update financial data in database to ensure that into information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.
- Prepare and submit weekly / monthly reports.
- Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly / yearly closing.
- Assist with other accounting projects.
- Prepare tax computation and returns.
- Monitor and resolve bank issues.
- Assist in preparations and co-ordination of the audit process
Requirements:
- B.sc,HND in accounting
- Minimum of 3 years experience in managing company books
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting. Principles.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software like FreshBooks and QuickBooks.
- Advanced MS Excel skills including pivot tables.
- Experience with general ledger functions.
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
Salary
