Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned, professional Java EE Trainer to join our team in Abuja. If you are a developer with a passion for teaching and a deep mastery of the Java ecosystem, this is a unique opportunity to shape the next generation of developers while maintaining your professional flexibility. You will lead hands-on sessions, mentor students through complex technical challenges, and bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world enterprise application development.

Requirements:

• Instructional Delivery: Deliver interactive, hands-on training sessions focusing on JSF, Hibernate, and the Spring Framework (including Spring Boot, MVC, and Security).

• Architecture & Design: Teach the fundamentals of enterprise application architecture, design patterns, RESTful Web Services, and microservices architecture.

• Mentorship: Provide one-on-one guidance to students, helping them troubleshoot code, optimize their logic, and overcome real-world implementation hurdles.

• Curriculum Management: Regularly update lesson plans, coding exercises, and project requirements to ensure our content remains relevant to industry standards.

• Project Assessment: Evaluate student projects, provide constructive feedback, and track individual progress throughout the training cycle.

• Industry Stewardship: Stay current with evolving trends in Java EE, cloud-based architectures, and DevOps practices to ensure our students graduate with marketable, modern skills.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Technical Expertise:

  • Significant experience in Java EE development with specific mastery in JSF, Hibernate, and Spring.

  • Proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring Security, Microservices, and building RESTful APIs.

  • Strong knowledge of SQL and ORM frameworks (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).

• Personal Profile:

  • Age: Must be 30 years old or older.

  • Location: Must reside in Abuja.

• Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

  • A genuine aptitude for mentorship and simplifying complex technical concepts.

• Preferred Assets: Prior teaching/training experience and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, and Agile methodologies.
