We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

• The IT Quality Assurance (QA) Officer will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of the organization’s software applications and systems.
• The role involves designing, executing, and documenting test plans, identifying issues, and collaborating with development teams to ensure robust software delivery.
• The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in software testing, automation, and database queries, along with excellent documentation skills to support high-quality IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute manual and automated test plans for applications and systems
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and load testing
• Identify, document, and track software defects and issues
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve technical problems
• Conduct performance testing using tools like JMeter
• Execute API testing with tools such as Postman
• Write and maintain automated tests using Cypress
• Validate data integrity and system functionality using SQL queries
• Maintain comprehensive QA documentation, including test cases, results, and reports
• Participate in agile development cycles and provide quality feedback.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Relevant certifications in QA or software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are an advantage.

Technical Competencies:

• Proficiency in Java for automation testing
• Experience with Cypress, JMeter, and Postman
• Strong knowledge of SQL for data validation and testing
• Ability to design and maintain test scripts and automation frameworks
• Excellent documentation skills for creating test plans, cases, and reports.
