Job Description:

As an IT QA Specialist, you are the final checkpoint for quality before a product reaches the end-user. You play a critical role in upholding the integrity of our software by ensuring it is secure, reliable, performant, and user-friendly. You will act as a bridge between the development team and the business, ensuring that our technical output matches our functional requirements perfectly.

Requirements:

• Comprehensive Test Planning: Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases that cover all edge cases, ensuring a robust verification process.

• Test Automation & Manual Execution: Balance manual testing (exploratory, usability) with the development of automated scripts using open-source frameworks to increase testing efficiency.

• Defect Management: Actively identify, log, track, and verify software bugs. You will own the lifecycle of a defect until its resolution is validated.

• Infrastructure Support: Assist in the setup and maintenance of diverse testing environments to simulate real-world production conditions.

• Strategic Collaboration: Partner with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to clarify complex requirements and assess the overall release readiness of software.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Technical Background: Experience with software development lifecycles (SDLC) and QA methodologies.

• Problem Solving: A track record of identifying issues before they reach production.

• Agility: The ability to pivot between manual testing and automated script development as project needs evolve.
