Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT Engineer to serve as the backbone of our organization’s technical operations. With 3–5 years of hands-on experience, you will be responsible for designing, securing, and maintaining our enterprise infrastructure. This is a high-impact role for an engineer who thrives on troubleshooting complex network environments, managing virtualization platforms, and driving infrastructure optimization in a fast-paced business setting.

Requirements:

• Network Administration: Architect and maintain our LAN/WAN infrastructure, firewalls, and VPNs. You will manage enterprise-grade hardware (Cisco, Fortinet, etc.), enforce strict security policies, and ensure optimal network latency and uptime.

• Systems Administration: Oversee our core Windows/Linux server environment. Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V), and mission-critical backup/disaster recovery processes.

• Security & Compliance: Implement and monitor endpoint protection, SIEM, and IDS/IPS solutions. You will lead vulnerability remediation and ensure our infrastructure aligns with ISO 27001, NDPR, and GDPR standards.

• IT Operations & Support: Serve as a Tier 2/3 escalation point. You will manage the IT asset lifecycle, maintain technical SOPs/runbooks, and act as a key liaison with external vendors and service providers.

• Continuous Improvement: Participate in infrastructure expansion projects, perform capacity planning, and drive the migration/integration of hybrid cloud technologies.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent relevant professional certifications.

• Experience: 3–5 years in enterprise infrastructure, systems administration, or network engineering, preferably in environments with 100+ users.

• Technical Proficiency:

  • Networking: Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP/OSPF, and SD-WAN.

  • Systems: Windows Server (2016–2022), Active Directory/GPO, and Linux (Ubuntu/RHEL).

  • Virtualization: VMware ESXi/vCenter or Hyper-V.

  • Automation: Scripting proficiency in PowerShell or Bash.

  • Cloud/Storage: Experience with AWS/Azure and SAN/NAS management (Veeam/Backup Exec).

• Certifications: Preferred candidates will hold CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+/Security+, or Azure Administrator credentials.
