Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and analytically elite Inventory Manager to anchor our logistics operations in Lagos. In a high-demand commercial landscape, success is defined by "Stock Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize complex supply levels with the clinical precision required for demand forecasting, multi-channel distribution, and supplier negotiation. This role is designed for an "Inventory Architect" with a degree in Business or Logistics who can blend "Analytical Grit" (using ERP software to monitor stock characteristics) with the "Strategic Agility" required to optimize control procedures and anticipate future organizational needs.

Requirements:

1. Control Orchestration & Demand Governance

  • System Sovereignty: Devise and implement high-fidelity inventory control procedures to optimize the "Source of Efficiency" across the organization.

  • Shortage Reconnaissance: Inspect levels of business supplies and raw materials with clinical precision, identifying potential shortages before they impact the distribution funnel.

  • Demand Architecture: Utilize specialized software to monitor demand and document stock characteristics, ensuring product levels can cover 100% of direct customer demand.

2. Data Integrity & Lifecycle Logic

  • Reconciliation Excellence: Record daily deliveries and shipments with millimetric accuracy, ensuring digital logs synchronously reflect physical "Source of Truth" reality.

  • Replenishment Governance: Place high-speed orders to replenish stock, expertly balancing the "Golden Ratio" between avoiding insufficiencies and preventing excessive surplus.

  • Forecasting Intelligence: Analyze historical data to anticipate future needs, utilizing high-fidelity forecasting methods to de-risk inventory obsolescence.

3. Supplier Diplomacy & Reporting Power

  • Deal Sovereignty: Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals while maintaining high-trust "Source of Reliability" relationships.

  • Inter-Departmental Synergy: Collaborate synchronously with warehouse employees and staff to ensure all inventory movements align with the organization's overarching growth goals.

  • Executive Intelligence: Prepare and present high-impact reports to upper management on stock levels, emerging issues, and strategic recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: BSc/BA in Business Administration, Logistics, or a relevant field.

  • Experience: Proven track record as an Inventory Manager or in a similar high-stakes logistical position.

  • Technical Mastery: Working knowledge of Inventory Management Software (e.g., ERP) and advanced data analysis methods.

Core Competencies

  • Analytical Grit: An analytical mind with strong math skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets.

  • Planning Sovereignty: Excellent organizational and planning skills with an "Eye for Detail."

  • Communication Power: Outstanding interpersonal abilities to manage team dynamics and supplier relations effectively.
