Job Description:
- We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Manager with a strong passion for supporting healthcare delivery through effective people management.
- The ideal candidate will be an experienced HR professional with a proven ability to manage, develop, and support both clinical and non-clinical teams.
- They should demonstrate a commitment to staff development, organizational growth, and fostering a positive workplace culture, while ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and best HR practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of both clinical and non-clinical staff.
- Manage employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Develop and implement performance appraisal systems, monitor staff performance, and support managers in addressing performance issues.
- Identify training needs, coordinate staff development programs, and ensure continuous professional development, especially for healthcare staff.
- Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies in line with labor laws and healthcare regulations.
- Oversee payroll, benefits, and reward systems, ensuring fairness, accuracy, and competitiveness.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels, including managing shifts and rosters to meet operational demands in a healthcare environment.
- Maintain accurate employee records and prepare HR reports for management decision-making.
- Drive initiatives that improve staff engagement, retention, and organizational culture.
- Promote workplace health and safety standards and support staff wellbeing initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Management, Psychology or a related field, with relevant professional HR certifications; a Master’s degree in HR is an added advantage.
- Proven HR experience, preferably within a healthcare setting, with strong understanding of workforce management for both clinical and non-clinical staff.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and educate diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Professional Certifications (Advantageous) CIPM, SPHRi, PHRi or others relevant certificates.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of labour laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements in Nigeria.
- Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to develop HR strategies aligned with organizational goals and drive cultural and organizational changes.
- Proficiency in HRIS/HR software and performance management systems.
- Strong focus on staff development, employee engagement, and organizational growth.
Salary
