Job Description:
We are seeking a visionary HR Manager to lead our People Operations in Ibadan, Oyo. This is a high-impact role designed for a professional who views Human Resources as a strategic engine for business success. You will be responsible for the entire employee lifecycle—from the first touchpoint in recruitment to the strategic design of performance systems and corporate culture.
As the HR Manager, you will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, ensuring that our workforce is talented, engaged, and compliant with Nigerian labor standards. Requirements:
1. Strategic Workforce Planning & Recruitment
Business Alignment: Develop and execute HR strategies that directly support our 2026 business objectives and workforce scaling plans.
Talent Acquisition: Own the end-to-end recruitment funnel, implementing modern sourcing techniques and a seamless onboarding experience that integrates new hires into the company culture.
Succession Planning: Identify future leadership needs and create pipelines to ensure long-term operational continuity.
2. Performance, Culture & Engagement
Performance Governance: Implement and manage robust performance appraisal systems that prioritize transparent feedback and measurable KPIs.
Employee Relations: Act as the primary mediator for grievances and conflicts, fostering a workplace environment built on trust, equity, and high engagement.
L&D Strategy: Design and coordinate learning programs and management training to bridge skill gaps and support employee career progression.
3. Compensation, Policy & Compliance
Total Rewards: Oversee payroll coordination and benefits administration, ensuring our compensation structures remain competitive and equitable.
Legal Stewardship: Ensure 100% adherence to Nigerian Labour Laws and internal policies, maintaining audit-ready HR records and documentation.
Policy Development: Draft and implement SOPs and HR handbooks that reflect modern workplace standards and ethical guidelines.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related Social Science field.
Experience: 3 – 6 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
Location: Must be resident in or able to work full-time in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Core Competencies
Analytical IQ: Ability to use HR metrics (attrition rates, time-to-hire) to drive decision-making.
Conflict Resolution: Strong mediation skills with an empathetic yet firm approach to employee relations.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills for presenting strategies to executive leadership.
Software Literacy: Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
