Job Description:

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Administration Officer to join our team.
• As a key member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in transforming our fashion production business into a disciplined, structured, and performance-managed operation within 6 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise company artisans, including tailors and monogram operators
• Implement SOPs, Code of Conduct, attendance, punctuality, and accountability measures
• Create systems to promote staff collective work, accountability, and productivity
• Act as HR gatekeeper, responsible for recruitment, hiring, documentation, probation, onboarding, and employee relations
• Track daily production output, job costing, and expense approvals
• Schedule regular training and team meetings to align staff with company goals
• Build a structure with supervisors/team leads to reduce direct chaos
• Submit weekly performance reports directly to the CEO.

Requirements:

Ideal Candidate:

• Firm but fair, with excellent people discipline and operations execution skills
• Strategic thinker with the ability to make senior leadership decisions
• Comfortable reporting to the CEO and acting as a line manager
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as an HR professional in a manufacturing or production setting
• Experience working with blue-collar workers/artisans in a factory or production environment
• Strong understanding of HR best practices, labour laws, and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to speak English and Yoruba or Pidgin is an advantage
• High level of personal integrity, with the ability to balance company culture, staff relations, and HR best practices.
