Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and trend-savvy Social Media Marketing Intern to anchor the digital engagement engine of our Port Harcourt operations. In a specialized digital landscape where brand momentum is dictated by the speed of the algorithm and the precision of the narrative success is defined by "Digital Visibility", the ability to harmonize creative content with the clinical precision required for Trend Research, Analytics Tracking, and Multi-Platform Scheduling. This role is designed for a "Content Architect" with 0–3 years of experience who can blend "Creative Grit" (producing reels, carousels, and captions) with the "Operational Agility" required to assist in field marketing across hostels, churches, and local events.
Requirements:
1. Orchestration & Content Governance
Creation Sovereignty: Assist in developing engaging content (Reels, Carousels, Stories) for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, acting as the primary "Source of Visual Energy."
Planning Architecture: Use tools like Meta Business Suite, Notion, or Google Sheets to schedule weekly content, providing the "Structural Foundation" for a consistent online presence.
Integrity Stewardship: Adhere strictly to the brand voice and visual identity, ensuring the "Source of Brand Consistency" is elite and uncompromised.
2. Tactical Resilience & Research Logic
Trend Sovereignty: Research social media trends, viral audio, and competitor content, acting as the primary "Source of Algorithmic Advantage."
Analytics Architecture: Track follower growth, reach, and engagement to prepare basic weekly reports, providing the "Functional Foundation" for data-driven team meetings.
Field Stewardship: Occasionally assist with field marketing and campaign promotions at hostels or events, maintaining the "Source of Physical Community Connection."
3. Operational Integrity & Design Power
Design Sovereignty: Utilize Canva or provided templates to create simple, high-impact graphics, acting as the primary "Source of Visual Communication."
Collaboration Architecture: Attend team meetings and contribute innovative growth ideas, providing the "Relational Foundation" for a high-performance marketing team.
Velocity Logic: Utilize Meta Business Suite and trend insights to resolve engagement roadblocks in real-time, maximizing the "Source of Digital Throughput" in Port Harcourt.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Minimum of SSCE, HND, or a Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience: 0 – 3 years of experience (ideal for those looking to build a career in digital marketing).
Technical Power: Basic proficiency in Canva, Meta Business Suite, and Google Sheets.
Domain Mastery: High familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook ecosystems.
