Job Description:

• The Head of Technical Services is a senior executive role responsible for overseeing the performance, integrity, and efficiency of all operational power generation assets. T
• his role leads the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) functions, ensuring maximum plant availability, strict regulatory compliance, and the implementation of best-in-class asset management practices.
• The focus is on driving day-to-day operational excellence and long-term asset health.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage operations and maintenance teams across multiple power generation sites.
• Develop and implement robust preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Ensure plant availability, reliability, and performance in line with industry benchmarks.
• Oversee asset integrity, spare parts management, and technical procurement processes.
• Enforce compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate technical audits, inspections, and reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
• Support expansion projects, upgrades, and technical feasibility assessments.
• Provide strategic input to executive leadership on operational planning and capital investments.
• Manage the O&M budget, control operational expenditures, and identify opportunities for cost optimization and energy efficiency improvements.
• Represent the company in industry forums, technical committees, and stakeholder meetings.

Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Power Engineering; Master’s degree is an advantage

Experience:

• 7–10 years in power plant operations and maintenance, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role

Certifications:

• COREN registration and certifications in HSE, PMP, or ISO standards are advantageous

Competencies:

• Strong leadership, technical planning, budget management, stakeholder engagement, and team development skills.

  Education:
