Job Description:
- The Head of Technical Services is a senior executive role responsible for overseeing the performance, integrity, and efficiency of all operational power generation assets. T
- his role leads the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) functions, ensuring maximum plant availability, strict regulatory compliance, and the implementation of best-in-class asset management practices.
- The focus is on driving day-to-day operational excellence and long-term asset health.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage operations and maintenance teams across multiple power generation sites.
- Develop and implement robust preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
- Ensure plant availability, reliability, and performance in line with industry benchmarks.
- Oversee asset integrity, spare parts management, and technical procurement processes.
- Enforce compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate technical audits, inspections, and reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Support expansion projects, upgrades, and technical feasibility assessments.
- Provide strategic input to executive leadership on operational planning and capital investments.
- Manage the O&M budget, control operational expenditures, and identify opportunities for cost optimization and energy efficiency improvements.
- Represent the company in industry forums, technical committees, and stakeholder meetings.
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Power Engineering; Master’s degree is an advantage
Experience:
- 7–10 years in power plant operations and maintenance, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role
Certifications:
- COREN registration and certifications in HSE, PMP, or ISO standards are advantageous
Competencies:
- Strong leadership, technical planning, budget management, stakeholder engagement, and team development skills.
Education:

Experience:
