Job Description:
Pharmarun is looking for a commercially savvy Growth Associate to accelerate our footprint within the Nigerian healthcare ecosystem. This is a high-impact role focused on the B2B sector: your primary mission is to integrate Pharmarun’s solutions into the daily workflows of HMOs, hospitals, and corporate healthcare providers.
You are not just selling a service; you are driving a transformation in how medication is accessed and financed in Africa. You will be responsible for the entire B2B lifecycle—from high-level pitching and pipeline management to onboarding and long-term account growth. Requirements:
1. B2B Acquisition & Pipeline Engineering
Strategic Prospecting: Identify and close new business opportunities with HMOs, private hospitals, and corporate clients to hit aggressive GMV (Gross Merchandise Value) targets.
Pitch & Proposal Mastery: Develop and deliver data-driven presentations that articulate Pharmarun’s value proposition in reducing drug procurement friction and improving patient outcomes.
Pipeline Management: Maintain a disciplined sales funnel using CRM tools (Zoho/HubSpot), ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting of lead conversion rates.
2. Partner Integration & Account Management
Seamless Onboarding: Coordinate with the product and operations teams to integrate new HMOs and hospitals into the Pharmarun ecosystem, ensuring zero-friction during the "Go-Live" phase.
Relationship Stewardship: Act as the primary growth lead for existing partners, identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities to increase order volumes and user engagement.
Operational Synergy: Work closely with the finance team to streamline claims and billing processes, ensuring that the financial loops between Pharmarun and its B2B partners are efficient and accurate.
3. Market Intelligence & Performance Analysis
Metric Tracking: Monitor and report on Key Partner Metrics, including active users, claims processing speed, and medication fulfillment rates.
Market Research: Conduct ongoing competitor analysis and market mapping to stay ahead of trends in the Nigerian health insurance and pharmaceutical distribution space.
Feedback Loop: Gather and synthesize partner feedback to inform our product roadmap, ensuring Pharmarun remains the preferred partner for healthcare providers.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Experience: 1–3 years in Business Development, Account Management, or B2B Sales. Experience in Healthtech, HMOs, or the Insurance sector is highly preferred.
Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of healthcare delivery systems, medical billing, and the Nigerian HMO landscape.
Technical Stack: Proficient in CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho) and advanced Google Workspace/MS Office for data reporting.
Core Competencies
Negotiation: Ability to navigate complex corporate hierarchies to close high-value partnerships.
Resilience: A "self-starter" attitude with the persistence required to close deals in a challenging and fragmented market.
