Job Description:

• A leading Steels and Mills Industry, located in Sabon Wuse, Niger State, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finish Goods Supervisor.
• The successful candidate will oversee the production of high-quality finished goods, ensuring adherence to safety standards, quality control, and production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production activities, ensuring efficient operation of rolling mill equipment
• Monitor and control quality of finished goods, implementing corrective actions as needed
• Enforce safety protocols and procedures
• Collaborate with maintenance team for equipment upkeep
• Analyze production data, implementing improvements
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Be technically responsible for the rolling mill department, ensuring all technical aspects are covered.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Metalogy, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
• A Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering is an added advantage
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a similar role in the steel industry, with proven experience in managing finish goods operations
• Strong knowledge of rolling mill operations and quality control
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Interested candidate must be willing to work in shifts
• Must be based in Niger State, preferably in Sabon Wuse or surrounding areas.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with production planning and inventory management
• Familiarity with safety management systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
