Job Description:

We are seeking a visionary and results-oriented General Manager to provide strategic leadership and comprehensive oversight of our operations. You will be the primary driver of our growth, balancing the complexities of large-scale projects in the Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy sectors with high-level financial discipline and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is an industry veteran who can navigate regulatory landscapes, mentor multidisciplinary teams, and translate organizational vision into profitable reality.

Requirements:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute long-term business strategies, driving market expansion and revenue growth while monitoring global energy trends.

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations, ensuring that all projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

  • Financial Stewardship: Manage P&L responsibilities, including annual budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control measures to ensure sustained profitability.

  • Business Development & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the company’s lead negotiator and relationship manager, cultivating partnerships with clients, regulatory bodies, and industry stakeholders.

  • Team & Talent Development: Mentor departmental managers and build a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous professional development.

  • Governance & Risk: Ensure rigorous compliance with HSE standards, corporate governance, and regulatory requirements while proactively mitigating operational and financial risks.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field. An MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is a distinct advantage.

  • Experience: 10–15 years of progressive experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management/leadership capacity.

  • Sector Expertise: Proven track record within the Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy industries.

  • Preferred Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional), Chartered Management credentials, or relevant industry certifications.

  • Core Competencies:

    • Commercial Acumen: Expertise in contract negotiation, financial planning, and business strategy.

    • Leadership: Exceptional ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and drive organizational change.

    • Analytical Prowess: Strong decision-making skills rooted in data-driven problem solving.

    • Communication: Exceptional presentation skills to influence stakeholders and drive business initiatives.
