Job Description:

We are looking for a high-performing Fullstack Developer to join our impact-driven team and help scale our property management platform. This isn't just a coding role; you will be building the digital infrastructure that empowers landlords, property managers, and tenants across the region.

As a core member of our remote engineering team, you will take ownership of the full feature lifecycle—from designing robust Laravel backend APIs to crafting intuitive, responsive React frontends. If you are passionate about PropTech, write clean, testable code, and thrive in an environment where your work has a direct impact on the product roadmap, we want you on board.

Requirements:

1. Backend Architecture (Laravel)

• API Development: Design and maintain scalable RESTful APIs that serve as the backbone for our multi-user platform.

• Data Integrity: Manage complex databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) using Eloquent ORM, ensuring migrations are clean and performance is optimized.

• Security & Auth: Implement sophisticated authentication protocols and granular roles/permissions to protect sensitive user data.

2. Frontend Excellence (React)

• Interface Design: Build modern, responsive UIs that provide a seamless experience for property managers on desktop and tenants on mobile.

• State Management: Efficiently manage application state and hooks to ensure the frontend is as performant as the backend.

• UX Collaboration: Work closely with designers to translate wireframes into pixel-perfect, accessible components.

3. Product Engineering & Lifecycle

• Clean Code: Write maintainable, testable, and refactored code that follows SOLID principles.

• Collaborative Sprints: Participate in code reviews and sprint planning, contributing to a culture of technical excellence and shared ownership.

• Performance Tuning: Proactively debug and optimize existing features to handle our growing user base.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Backend Mastery: Proven experience building API-driven applications with Laravel.

• Frontend Mastery: Strong experience with React (Hooks, Routing, and Component architecture).

• Database Logic: Solid understanding of relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL).

• Version Control: Fluency in Git and collaborative workflows.

• Location: Remote, but candidates must be based in Nigeria.

The "Nice to Haves"

• Experience with TypeScript and Tailwind CSS.

• Previous experience building SaaS products, specifically in PropTech or Fintech.

• A mindset for scalable system design.
