Job Description:
We are seeking a professional, patient-centric, and highly organized Front Desk Officer to manage the first point of contact at our Festac facility. In this role, you will be responsible for the seamless coordination of the reception area, ensuring a welcoming ambience while maintaining rigorous accuracy in client registration and payment processing. As the face of the branch, you will bridge the gap between administrative efficiency and compassionate patient care, ensuring that every visitor is guided through their diagnostic journey with clarity and professionalism.
The ideal candidate possesses a background in health sciences and has the interpersonal sophistication to manage diverse patient needs while adhering to strict confidentiality and quality standards.
Requirements:
Patient Coordination & Registration
Reception Management: Oversee the waiting area to maintain a calm, organized, and professional environment.
Data Integrity: Conduct accurate client registration, collecting and inputting all necessary personal and financial data into the system.
Flow Optimization: Maintain a steady registration flow, efficiently moving patients through the check-in process to minimize wait times.
Guidance: Politely direct clients to the appropriate examination or procedure rooms following payment.
Financial & Administrative Operations
Payment Processing: Accept and register various modes of payment in strict accordance with company policy.
Account Maintenance: Update patient accounts with current personal and financial information while protecting patient rights and confidentiality.
Records Management: Ensure proper filing, electronic archiving, and manual documentation of patient records and correspondence.
Order Processing: Timely processing of orders, applications, and forms to support departmental objectives.
Customer Experience & Quality Control
Engagement: Anticipate guest needs, build rapport, and answer patient inquiries with accurate product and service knowledge.
Feedback & Complaints: Encourage clients to use feedback channels and address complaints, escalating complex issues to the Branch Operations or Customer Experience Manager.
Compliance: Adhere strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety, health, and quality standards.
Reporting: Responsible for generating and dispatching reports to support operational goals.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Experience
Degree: B.Sc. in Health Management, Basic Sciences, or a related field.
Industry Experience: Proven experience within the Diagnostics Industry is highly required.
Location: Candidates MUST reside within Festac or its immediate environs for ease of commute and operational readiness.
Technical & Professional Skills
Digital Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer usage for data entry and report generation.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse patient types.
Operational Accuracy: High attention to detail, particularly regarding patient identification and financial record-keeping.
Core Competencies
Time Management: Ability to complete duties neatly and accurately within a fast-paced environment.
