Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Financial Control & Compliance Lead to anchor the governance engine of our Nigerian operations. In a specialized FMCG landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the speed of the remediation and the precision of the internal controls success is defined by "Fiscal Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize Entity Level Controls (ELC) with the clinical precision required for ICFR/SOX Environments, Risk Management, and Systematic Data Analytics. This role is designed for a "Governance Architect", specifically a Qualified Accountant with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience who can blend "Audit Grit" (tracking remediation and challenging financial processes) with the "Strategic Agility" required to provide SME support for Special Investigations and Board-Level Liaising.

Requirements:

1. Orchestration & Risk Governance

• Sovereignty of the Control Environment: Act as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for key risks and controls across PZC Finance, acting as the primary "Source of Financial Integrity."

• Network Architecture: Create and develop relationships across the group to improve awareness of the Three Lines of Defense, providing the "Structural Foundation" for cross-skilled information sharing.

• Integrity Stewardship: Monitor and report adherence to external legislation and internal policies, ensuring the "Source of Institutional Compliance" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Tactical Resilience & Analytical Logic

• Remediation Sovereignty: Oversee the tracking and monitoring of actions raised by internal and external auditors, acting as the primary "Source of Corrective Momentum."

• Analytical Architecture: Perform regular analytics to challenge the status quo and identify efficiency improvements, providing the "Functional Foundation" for behavioral change (e.g., T&E policy compliance).

• Mitigation Stewardship: Investigate situations and create new, unique, and pragmatic solutions to address identified issues, maintaining the "Source of Risk Improvement."

3. Operational Integrity & Influence Power

• Stakeholder Sovereignty: Influence and communicate with all levels of the business, including ALT and Board level, acting as the primary "Source of Governance Authority."

• Project Architecture: Lead financial internal control projects and provide SME support for special investigations, providing the "Relational Foundation" for business-wide support.

• Velocity Logic: Utilize Mastery Competency in Controls to accelerate the "Audit-to-Remediation" cycle, maximizing the "Source of Financial Throughput."

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: University Degree; Qualified Accountant / Internal or External Auditor.

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience with a proven track record in ICFR / SOX environments.

• Technical Power: Mastery in Controls; Operational competency in Risk Management, Systems, and Accounting.

• Sector Intelligence: Experience in the FMCG sector is highly preferred.

• Location: Nigeria (Full-time).
