Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and strategically elite Finance Officer to anchor the economic engine of our Oyigbo operations. In the resource-intensive landscape of Rivers State, success is defined by "Fiscal Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize complex cash flows with the clinical precision required for Budgetary Forecasting, Taxation Integrity, and Internal Control Systems. This role is designed for a "Financial Architect" with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting who can blend "Numerical Grit" (managing payroll and statutory deductions) with the "Analytical Agility" required to provide high-fidelity insights to management.

Requirements:

1. Resource Orchestration & Management Governance

• Budgetary Sovereignty: Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Financial Planning."

• Cash-Flow Architecture: Monitor transactions and ensure the proper allocation of funds, providing the "Structural Foundation" for daily operations.

• Ledger Stewardship: Maintain accurate financial records and process invoices with clinical precision, ensuring the "Source of Transaction History" is pristine.

2. Compliance Resilience & Audit Logic

• Statutory Sovereignty: Manage payroll processing and ensure timely tax filings, acting as the primary "Source of Regulatory Compliance."

• Audit Architecture: Support internal and external audits by maintaining high-fidelity documentation, providing the "Source of Institutional Transparency."

• Reporting Stewardship: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial dossiers, optimizing the "Source of Management Decision-Support."

3. Risk Integrity & Control Power

• Control Sovereignty: Implement and monitor internal control systems to prevent fraud, acting as the primary "Source of Asset Protection."

• Risk Architecture: Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies, providing the "Source of Strategic Resilience."

• Reconciliation Logic: Reconcile bank statements and accounts regularly to ensure "Zero-Discrepancy" status, utilizing Accounting expertise to maximize the "Source of Data Accuracy."

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Certification: Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, or CPA) is a strategic advantage.

• Experience: Proven experience in finance or accounting roles with strong knowledge of accounting principles.
