Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support our HR department. This role is exclusively open to currently serving Corp Members (NYSC) who are looking to gain hands-on experience in human resources management, administrative operations, and personnel coordination within a professional environment in Abuja.
The successful candidate will work directly under the Human Resource Manager, providing essential support in the day-to-day execution of HR policies and staff engagement initiatives.
Requirements:
Administrative Support
Managerial Assistance: Act as the primary support to the Human Resource Manager, assisting with administrative tasks, scheduling, and office coordination.
Documentation: Assist in maintaining and updating personnel records, ensuring all employee files are organized and audit-ready.
Correspondence: Draft professional emails, memos, and internal communications as directed by the HR Manager.
HR Operations & Recruitment
Recruitment Support: Assist in the initial stages of recruitment, including sorting applications, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
Onboarding: Support the integration of new hires by preparing orientation materials and ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
Policy Compliance: Help monitor staff adherence to company policies and maintain confidentiality regarding all sensitive employee data.
General Coordination
Multitasking: Manage multiple administrative requests simultaneously while ensuring high attention to detail.
Proactive Problem Solving: Identify potential office or personnel issues early and suggest proactive solutions to the manager.
Office Culture: Contribute to a positive work environment through professional verbal and written engagement with staff and visitors.
Qualifications and Skills:
NYSC Status: Must be a currently serving Corp Member in Abuja (FCT).
Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Humanities, or a related field.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is essential.

Detail-Oriented: A strong ability to pay attention to small details and ensure accuracy in documentation.
