Job Description:
We are seeking a sophisticated, highly organized, and strategic professional to serve as the Executive Assistant to the Headmaster. In this dual-capacity role, you will act as the principal right-hand to the Headmaster while providing operational leadership to the School Office. You will be the vital link between school leadership, governors, parents, and academic staff. This is a high-visibility position ideal for an experienced administrator who thrives in a fast-paced educational environment, possesses impeccable diplomatic skills, and is dedicated to upholding the values and strategic vision of our College.
Requirements:
Executive Support: Manage the Headmaster’s diary, correspondence, and travel. Draft high-level communications, prepare briefing materials, and coordinate leadership meetings with precision.
School Office Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire the administrative team. Oversee front-of-house, communications, and events to ensure consistent, high-standard service across the school.
Stakeholder & Governance: Act as the primary liaison for the Board of Governors, parents, and regulatory bodies. Coordinate board meetings, track governance actions, and ensure all records are maintained with total confidentiality.
Event & Project Management: Lead the planning of high-profile events (e.g., graduation, VIP visits, parent forums) and manage strategic projects on behalf of the Headmaster, ensuring milestones are met and communication is seamless.
Operational Integration: Collaborate with Admissions, HR, Finance, and Facilities to ensure operational efficiency. Champion systems and technologies that streamline communication and administrative practice.
Culture & Safeguarding: Serve as a foundational ambassador for the school's ethos. Maintain a rigorous commitment to health, safety, and safeguarding protocols at all times.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Education, Communications, Management, or a related field.
Experience: 7–10 years of experience in executive support or senior-level office management, preferably within an international school or multinational organization.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint) and familiarity with school information systems.
