Job Description:
We are seeking smart, target-driven, and customer-focused Direct Sales Agents to join our retail banking division. In this role, you will be the frontline representative of the bank, responsible for driving aggressive customer acquisition and promoting a diverse suite of financial products. You will work within assigned territories to build a robust customer base, ensuring that every interaction reflects the bank's commitment to excellence and regulatory compliance.
The ideal candidate is a resilient sales professional with a proven track record of meeting high-pressure targets and the interpersonal agility to navigate diverse customer segments.
Requirements:
Sales Execution & Revenue Growth
Target Achievement: Meet or exceed rigorous monthly KPIs and sales targets to drive consistent revenue generation for the bank.
Lead Generation: Actively scout for new business opportunities and onboard new customers through cold calling, referrals, and field activations.
Product Promotion: Effectively close sales for core banking products, including savings and current accounts, personal loans, and credit cards.
Customer Acquisition & Onboarding
Account Opening: Lead the end-to-end customer onboarding process, from initial contact to account activation.
Documentation & Verification: Ensure all customer documents are accurate, complete, and fully compliant with Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies.
Cross-Selling: Deliver compelling presentations to existing customers to introduce additional services that align with their financial goals.
Field Marketing & Relationship Management
Market Activations: Conduct high-energy field marketing activities, including door-to-door campaigns and community-based activations.
Relationship Building: Foster long-term trust with customers to enhance loyalty and encourage repeat business.
Reporting: Submit detailed daily and weekly reports on sales activities, market feedback, and lead conversion rates.
Compliance & Professionalism
Policy Adherence: Maintain strict confidentiality and security of customer information while adhering to all internal bank procedures and regulatory standards.
Product Expertise: Maintain an in-depth, up-to-date understanding of all banking products, interest rates, and service features.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
Minimum of ND, HND, or B.Sc. degree from a recognized institution.
Note: Candidates with Third Class or Pass degrees will not be considered.
Experience:
2–3 years of professional experience in sales or marketing, preferably within the financial services or telecommunications sectors.
