Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Data Analyst to turn our raw data into a strategic asset. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end data lifecycle—from collection and cleaning to sophisticated analysis and executive presentation. Your primary objective will be to provide the actionable insights necessary to improve operational efficiency and support data-driven decision-making across all departments.
The ideal candidate possesses the technical rigor to manage complex datasets and the communication skills to translate statistical findings into clear, meaningful business recommendations.
Requirements:
Data Engineering & Management
Dataset Optimization: Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from diverse sources, ensuring absolute data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
Systems Maintenance: Develop and maintain the databases, spreadsheets, and reporting systems that form the backbone of our business intelligence.
Automation: Assist in automating manual reporting processes and improving overall data management systems to increase team velocity.
Analysis & Insight Generation
Trend Identification: Use statistical techniques to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for process improvement.
KPI Monitoring: Track and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and business metrics, alerting management to significant shifts in performance.
Problem Solving: Apply data modeling and statistical analysis to solve complex business problems and support strategic planning.
Reporting & Collaboration
Visualization: Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports and interactive dashboards using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate across departments to understand specific analytical needs and provide timely, accurate data support.
Presentation: Distill findings into professional reports, charts, and presentations that provide management with a clear path toward operational improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
Experience:
Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar professional analytical role.
Technical Skills:
Excel Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
Database Querying: Strong knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
Visualization: Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools is a significant advantage.
Statistical Knowledge: A solid understanding of basic statistics and data modeling principles.
Core Competencies:
Analytical Rigor: Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
Communication: Ability to present complex technical findings to non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively.
