Job Description:
Capsgain Solutions Limited is a fast-scaling, performance-driven e-commerce company. We are looking for a Video Editor who doesn’t just "edit," but builds high-converting digital sales machines. In our world, speed, clarity, and performance are the only metrics that matter.
You will be responsible for transforming raw footage and User-Generated Content (UGC) into scroll-stopping short-form ads for Meta and TikTok. This is a high-volume, high-impact role where you will work alongside media buyers to test creative hypotheses and scale our Pay-on-Delivery brands. If you can turn a "hook" into a "sale" and thrive in a rapid testing environment, we want to see your portfolio.
Requirements:
1. Performance Ad Architecture
Direct-Response Mastery: Edit short-form video ads (9:16) specifically optimized for Meta and TikTok algorithms.
The "Hook" Strategy: Engineer the first 3 seconds of every video to be "scroll-stopping," using fast-paced cuts, captions, and visual cues.
CTAs & Overlays: Integrate clear, persuasive on-screen text and Call-to-Action elements that guide the viewer toward a purchase.
2. Rapid Iteration & Creative Testing
Variation Engine: Produce multiple variations of a single creative—testing different hooks, music, or endings—to identify the "winning" ad.
Data-Driven Editing: Implement feedback from media buyers based on real-time performance reports (CTR, Hook Rate, ROAS).
Speed & Volume: Maintain a high output of creatives without sacrificing the clarity or the "conversion-first" logic of the brand.
3. Creative Asset Management
UGC Transformation: Take raw, unpolished customer or influencer footage and polish it into a professional, high-converting advertisement.
File Governance: Maintain organized project files and assets to allow for quick updates or re-edits as market trends shift.
Visual Synergy: Utilize graphics design skills (where applicable) to create supporting static assets or high-impact thumbnails.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: BA, BSc, or HND in any related field.
Experience: Proven track record editing e-commerce or performance ad creatives. (We value a portfolio of ads that have successfully "scaled" more than anything else).
Technical IQ: Proficiency in CapCut, Premiere Pro, or After Effects.
Core Competencies
Conversion Knowledge: A deep understanding of what makes people stop scrolling on TikTok and Meta.
Pace: The ability to work quickly and deliver multiple high-quality creatives daily.
Humility & Grit: A "thick skin" for receiving feedback and the resilience to iterate until an ad performs.
