Job Description:

• Multigate is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and driven Cloud DevOps Engineer with expertise in Azure Cloud. The individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal system performance.
• The ideal candidate should have strong technical acumen, a problem-solving mindset, and excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across teams and support the organization’s technology and business objectives.

Mission for this Role

• To design, implement, and maintain a secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud infrastructure on Azure, ensuring reliable and efficient cloud operations across all Multigate platforms.
• The role is also accountable for optimizing cloud performance, enforcing best practices in security and governance, and collaborating with internal teams to support business continuity, innovation, and strategic technology initiatives.
• You will work closely with the technical leads and the Enterprise Architect to improve, identify and establish DevOps practices in the company.
• The ideal candidate will establish configuration management, automate our infrastructure, implement continuous integration, and train the team in DevOps best practices to achieve a continuously deployable system.
• This candidate will build scalable, efficient cloud infrastructure.
• You’ll implement monitoring for automated system health checks. Lastly, you’ll build our CI pipeline, and train and guide the team in DevOps practices.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure.

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of applications in the cloud environment.
• Implement best practices for Azure resource provisioning, management, and monitoring.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Streamline and automate operational processes to enhance efficiency.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code tools to manage and version infrastructure configurations.
• Ensure consistency and reliability through automated provisioning and configuration management.
• Implement and maintain robust security measures for Azure cloud environments.
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability testing, and remediation.
• Collaborate with the security team to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

Competencies (Must-Have Skills & Behaviors):

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Shell for automation.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud security best practices and Azure-specific security features.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
