Job Description:
Our client is seeking a diligent, trustworthy, and detail-oriented Cashier to manage customer transactions in a fast-paced retail environment. The successful candidate will handle both B2B and B2C customer interactions with integrity and provide professional service.
Requirements:
Transaction Management: Process customer orders, handle all payments (POS and cash), and issue receipts.
Financial Accuracy: Reconcile daily cash sales, balance the register, and ensure all credit card and cash operations are accurately documented.
Record Keeping: Maintain proper transaction records and support basic sales documentation and reporting.
Customer Service: Provide excellent professional service, including managing impatient or difficult customers to ensure satisfaction.
Asset Protection: Ensure the proper handling and safeguarding of company funds.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Minimum of OND, HND, or B.Sc. Degree.
Experience: Previous experience in a cashier or similar retail role is required.
Skills: Strong numerical and mathematical ability, multitasking skills, and excellent communication.
Traits: Honest, reliable, and well-organized.
Availability: Must be able to work flexibly on a shift basis.
Proximity: The candidate must reside in close proximity to the Mandilas/Lagos Island area.
