The Candel FZE is a manufacturing company engaged in the development, production, marketing and distribution of agrochemicals, specialised fertilisers, seeds and allied products in Nigeria. It is located in the Lekki Free Zone, Ibeju- Lekki, Lagos, near Dangote Refinery.

Job Description:

We are looking for the next generation of supply chain leaders. As a Graduate Trainee (Logistics Officer), you will undergo an intensive, structured training program designed to give you a 360-degree view of our logistical engine.

From the intricacies of import/export documentation to the high-stakes coordination of transportation and warehouse management, you will work side-by-side with industry veterans to ensure our goods reach their destination on time, every time. Requirements:

1. Warehouse & Inventory Mastery

  • Stock Integrity: Assist in maintaining "zero-error" records for incoming and outgoing goods.

  • Operational Oversight: Participate in supervising the loading and offloading of raw materials and finished products, ensuring quality is maintained at every touchpoint.

  • Inventory Control: Support monthly stock reconciliations and learn the logic behind optimized warehouse organization.

2. Transportation & Shipment Coordination

  • Fleet Syncing: Support the real-time tracking of shipments, coordinating closely with drivers and transporters to manage delivery windows.

  • Documentation Architecture: Learn the legal and technical requirements for preparing critical import/export documents and transport manifests.

  • Timely Fulfillment: Assist in following up on delivery schedules to minimize bottlenecks and ensure customer satisfaction.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Financial Alignment: Participate in monthly reconciliations with the Finance department to ensure physical stock matches financial records.

  • Safety & Standards: Engage in health and safety (HSE) audits to ensure all goods are handled in compliance with global quality standards.

  • Systems Learning: Gain proficiency in utilizing data and basic analytics to identify gaps in the supply chain process.

Qualifications and Skills:

Academic & Professional Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Single or Combined Honours) from a recognized Nigerian University.

  • Experience: 0–2 years of work experience (Fresh Graduates and Post-NYSC candidates are highly encouraged to apply).

  • Technical Stack: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry and basic formulas) and Word.

  • Age Limit: Must not be more than 30 years old.
