Job Description:

Are you a smart, proactive, and ambitious Corps Member looking to kickstart your career in the heart of Lagos' business hub? We are seeking an energetic Business Growth Associate to join our team in Victoria Island. This role is specifically designed for a current member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) who is passionate about marketing, strategic partnerships, and scaling business operations.

You will work directly with our leadership team to identify new market opportunities, refine our growth strategies, and execute campaigns that drive measurable results.

Requirements:

Market Expansion & Lead Generation

• Prospecting: Identify and research potential clients, industries, and partners to fuel our business development pipeline.

• Outreach: Assist in executing cold outreach, email marketing, and social selling strategies to engage key stakeholders.

• Market Research: Conduct industry analysis to stay ahead of trends and identify competitive advantages.

Marketing & Brand Strategy

• Content Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling pitches, presentations, and digital content.

• Campaign Tracking: Monitor the performance of growth initiatives and provide data-driven feedback to the team.

• Brand Visibility: Support the planning and execution of networking events and promotional activities in the Victoria Island business district.

Strategic Support

• Relationship Management: Assist in maintaining strong relationships with existing partners and clients.

• Administrative Support: Provide high-level administrative assistance to the Business Growth team to ensure projects stay on schedule.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Status: Must be a currently serving Corps Member (NYSC) in Lagos State.

• Education: Possession of a relevant degree (B.Sc./B.A.) in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.

• Core Competencies:

  • Proactivity: A self-starter attitude with a hunger for learning and professional growth.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret basic data and market trends.

  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with digital marketing tools/social media.

• Location: Must be able to commute to Victoria Island daily.
