Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and technically fluent Business Development Officer to anchor the growth engine of Otanium Energy. In a specialized industrial landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the speed of the contract and the precision of the engineering spec success is defined by "Commercial Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize high-level relationship building with the clinical precision required for Energy Optimization, Offshore Operations, and Technical Proposals. This role is designed for a "Market Architect" with a Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of experience who can blend "Relational Grit" (engaging vessel operators and oil & gas majors) with the "Strategic Agility" required to interpret marine electrical systems and secure high-value offshore contracts.
Requirements:
1. Orchestration & Growth Governance
Market Sovereignty: Drive organizational growth by identifying and capturing opportunities within the maritime and oil & gas sectors, acting as the primary "Source of Revenue Expansion."
Network Architecture: Build and sustain high-fidelity relationships with offshore service providers and vessel operators, providing the "Structural Foundation" for long-term contract security.
Integrity Stewardship: Promote Otanium’s engineering and energy optimization services with technical accuracy, ensuring the "Source of Brand Authority" is elite and uncompromised.
2. Tactical Resilience & Technical Logic
Proposal Sovereignty: Understand and interpret complex technical proposals and client requirements, acting as the primary "Source of Solution Alignment."
Sales Architecture: Generate high-quality leads and close deals with millimetric focus, providing the "Functional Foundation" for a robust sales pipeline.
Domain Stewardship: Leverage knowledge of marine electrical systems and offshore operations to provide value-added insights to clients, maintaining the "Source of Technical Trust."
3. Operational Integrity & Executive Power
Communication Sovereignty: Deliver elite presentations and negotiations to senior stakeholders, acting as the primary "Source of Commercial Persuasion."
Reporting Architecture: Utilize Microsoft Office tools to provide accurate progress reports and market intelligence, providing the "Relational Foundation" for data-driven management decisions.
Velocity Logic: Utilize 2+ years of sector-specific experience to resolve procurement or contract bottlenecks in real-time, maximizing the "Source of Business Throughput" for Otanium Energy.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in business development or sales, specifically within Maritime, Offshore, or Oil & Gas.
Technical Power: Ability to interpret technical engineering proposals; knowledge of marine electrical systems is a distinct advantage.
