Job Description:

  • We are seeking an experienced and strategic Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth and expand our presence in the IT solutions market.
  • The ideal candidate will identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and lead the development of enterprise technology solutions that address customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across SMEs, corporates, and government sectors
  • Develop and execute business growth strategies and market expansion plans
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers (CIOs, IT Managers, Procurement Heads)
  • Drive sales of IT solutions including:
    • Servers and storage systems
    • Cloud solutions (e.g., Amazon Web Services )
    • Backup and disaster recovery solutions
    • Cybersecurity solutions
    • Networking and infrastructure services
  • Lead proposal development, including technical and commercial documentation
  • Work closely with presales and technical teams to design tailored solutions
  • Negotiate contracts and close high-value deals
  • Establish and manage strategic partnerships with OEMs
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies
  • Manage sales pipeline and provide regular performance reports
  • Drive account growth through upselling and cross-selling opportunities
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term retention.

 

Performance Metrics (KPIs)

  • Monthly/quarterly revenue targets achieved
  • Number of new enterprise clients acquired
  • Value of deals closed
  • Sales pipeline growth and conversion rate
  • Customer retention and account expansion
  • Partnership development and vendor engagement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
  • 4 - 7 years of experience in IT sales or business development
  • Proven track record of closing enterprise deals and meeting revenue targets
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, and cybersecurity solutions
  • Experience working with OEMs or cloud providers is an added advantage
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking ability
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
