Job Description:
- We are seeking an experienced and strategic Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth and expand our presence in the IT solutions market.
- The ideal candidate will identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and lead the development of enterprise technology solutions that address customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across SMEs, corporates, and government sectors
- Develop and execute business growth strategies and market expansion plans
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers (CIOs, IT Managers, Procurement Heads)
- Drive sales of IT solutions including:
- Servers and storage systems
- Cloud solutions (e.g., Amazon Web Services )
- Backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Cybersecurity solutions
- Networking and infrastructure services
- Lead proposal development, including technical and commercial documentation
- Work closely with presales and technical teams to design tailored solutions
- Negotiate contracts and close high-value deals
- Establish and manage strategic partnerships with OEMs
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies
- Manage sales pipeline and provide regular performance reports
- Drive account growth through upselling and cross-selling opportunities
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
Performance Metrics (KPIs)
- Monthly/quarterly revenue targets achieved
- Number of new enterprise clients acquired
- Value of deals closed
- Sales pipeline growth and conversion rate
- Customer retention and account expansion
- Partnership development and vendor engagement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
- 4 - 7 years of experience in IT sales or business development
- Proven track record of closing enterprise deals and meeting revenue targets
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, and cybersecurity solutions
- Experience working with OEMs or cloud providers is an added advantage
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking ability
- Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
