Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive to spearhead revenue growth and expand our market presence within the fashion and garment production industry. This role is designed for a strategic "hunter" who can bridge the gap between our high-capacity production facility and corporate/institutional clients in need of bulk apparel solutions.
The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of the fashion production value chain and has a proven track record of securing high-value contracts for uniforms, workwear, and branded apparel.
Requirements:
Lead Generation & Client Acquisition
B2B Sales: Identify and pursue new business opportunities across corporate, institutional, and retail segments.
Bulk Production Deals: Generate and convert leads into high-volume production contracts (e.g., school uniforms, corporate workwear, and event-specific apparel).
Conversion: Take full ownership of the sales funnel—from initial lead identification to final contract signing and payment.
Strategic Relationship Management
Partnership Building: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients, vendors, and strategic industry partners.
Proposal & Negotiation: Prepare professional proposals and quotations; lead contract negotiations to ensure profitable and sustainable business terms.
Market Representation: Represent the brand at trade exhibitions, networking events, and high-level client meetings.
Operational Synergy & Intelligence
Production Liaison: Collaborate closely with the production team to ensure client specifications (fabrics, sizing, branding) are clearly communicated and delivered on time.
Market Research: Conduct ongoing research to identify emerging fashion trends, competitor activities, and evolving customer needs.
Performance Tracking: Utilize CRM tools to track sales performance, pipeline health, and conversion rates, providing regular reports to management.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: * HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: * 3–5 years of experience in Business Development or Sales.
Industry Preference: Direct experience in Fashion, Garment Manufacturing, or related industrial sectors is highly preferred.
Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Core Competencies:
Negotiation & Sales: Exceptional ability to close B2B deals and manage long sales cycles.
Fashion Literacy: Strong understanding of garment production processes and the apparel value chain.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute growth strategies that align with production capacity.
Technical Skills: * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint) and CRM software.
