Job Description:
We are seeking a high-performing, results-driven Business Development Executive with specialized experience in the flour and baking sector. In this role, you will be the primary driver of sales growth, responsible for identifying new market opportunities and scaling our footprint across both B2B (flour mills, industrial bakeries) and B2C channels. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of the food ingredient supply chain and leverages an existing industry network to deliver measurable revenue growth.
Requirements:
Market Expansion: Identify and acquire new high-value customers within the bakery, food manufacturing, and retail sectors.
Relationship Management: Manage and expand existing client accounts, ensuring long-term partnership loyalty and increased share of wallet.
Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate the B2B and B2C markets effectively.
Target Achievement: Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through aggressive prospecting and closing.
Client Consultation: Act as a technical advisor to bakeries and food manufacturers, understanding their ingredient needs and proposing tailored solutions.
Regional Mobility: Travel frequently across various regions to conduct site visits, market storming, and stakeholder meetings.
Reporting: Track market trends and competitor activity, providing regular reports and actionable insights to management.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: HND or BSc in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 3–5 years of proven success in business development or sales.
Industry Mandatory: Minimum of 3 years experience specifically within the flour, baking, or food ingredient industry.
Sales Acumen: Strong understanding of the nuances between B2B (industrial/wholesale) and B2C (retail) sales cycles.
Communication: Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Mobility: Willingness to be highly mobile and travel frequently to meet regional sales objectives.
Salary
