Job Description:
We are seeking a high-performing, commercially astute Brand & Commercial Manager to lead our market expansion and brand evolution. This is a hybrid leadership role that sits at the intersection of creative brand identity and cold, hard sales data.
You will not just be managing a brand image; you will be the primary engine for revenue growth across multiple territories. You will lead cross-functional teams and manage complex distribution channels—from traditional markets to modern trade and digital platforms. Requirements:
1. Brand Identity & Product Stewardship
Identity Management: Architect and protect the brand’s image, ensuring that messaging is consistent, aspirational, and culturally resonant.
Strategic Messaging: Develop the "Brand Voice" and value propositions that differentiate our products in a crowded marketplace.
Stakeholder Synergy: Act as the primary liaison between brand owners and operational teams to ensure global strategies are localized effectively.
2. Commercial Growth & Territory Leadership
Sales Driving: Translate brand strategies into tactical sales plans that achieve aggressive revenue targets and market penetration.
Omnichannel Strategy: Optimize brand presence across diverse channels, including Traditional Trade, Modern Trade, Professional Salons, and E-commerce.
Regional Optimization: Manage and audit brand performance across different territories, identifying and exploiting under-served regional opportunities.
3. Leadership & Channel Operations
Team Management: Lead and mentor a cross-functional team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and high performance.
Channel Relationship Management: Negotiate and maintain high-level partnerships with distributors and channel partners to ensure maximum product accessibility and visibility.
Performance Analytics: Utilize commercial data and market insights to refine strategies, pivot when necessary, and report ROI to stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years of solid experience in sales and marketing, with a proven history of managing brands in competitive sectors.
Education: HND or BSc degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Commercial IQ: Strong understanding of market dynamics, consumer behavior, and financial metrics.
