Job Description:

We are looking for a seasoned Branch Service Manager to lead our service centre operations in Lagos. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, maintaining high service quality standards, and ensuring our customers receive prompt, effective support. This is a leadership role focused on managing technical teams, optimizing inventory, and fostering a customer-centric environment.

Requirements:

  • Operational Oversight: Direct the day-to-day activities of the service centre, including repair workflows, customer interactions, and technician schedules, ensuring full compliance with safety and service protocols.

  • Customer Experience: Spearhead initiatives to boost customer satisfaction and proactively manage escalated complaints to ensure swift, professional resolution.

  • Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, supervise, and develop a diverse team of technicians and support staff. Set clear performance goals and provide regular coaching to maintain high technical competence.

  • Technical Support: Serve as the primary technical point of escalation, providing hands-on guidance to the team and collaborating with central product teams on complex troubleshooting.

  • Inventory & Resource Management: Maintain optimal stock levels for spare parts and tools, coordinating closely with procurement and logistics to prevent downtime.

  • Performance Analysis: Track service Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify bottlenecks and implement data-driven improvements.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in service management, operations, or a relevant technical field.

  • Education: Possession of relevant academic qualifications or professional certifications in a related discipline.

  • Leadership: Proven ability to manage teams and drive performance in a fast-paced service environment.

  • Problem-Solving: Excellent diagnostic skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations with a professional demeanor.

  • Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail, particularly regarding inventory control and operational workflows.

  • Location: Must be based in or able to commute effectively to Lagos.
