Job Description:

  • We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Branch Manager to oversee the overall operations, sales performance, and profitability of the branch.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, ensuring operational excellence, leading high-performing teams, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The Branch Manager will provide leadership across all branch functions, including sales, finance, inventory management, customer experience, and people management, while ensuring the achievement of organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch to ensure efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve branch revenue, profitability, and market share targets.
  • Drive customer acquisition, retention, and business development initiatives within the branch's coverage area.
  • Supervise, coach, mentor, and motivate branch employees to achieve individual and team performance objectives.
  • Monitor daily sales activities, branch performance, and operational metrics, taking corrective actions where necessary.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by promptly resolving customer complaints, inquiries, and escalations.
  • Oversee cash management, inventory control, stock accuracy, and safeguarding of company assets.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor branch expenses and ensure effective cost management while maximizing profitability.
  • Prepare and submit accurate daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational and management reports.
  • Collaborate with the Finance, Warehouse, Service, HR, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless branch operations.
  • Identify new business opportunities, build strong customer relationships, and expand the branch's customer base.
  • Conduct regular branch inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, security, and adherence to operational standards.
  • Monitor inventory movement and coordinate stock replenishment to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Drive employee engagement, performance management, training, and succession planning within the branch.
  • Ensure timely implementation of company initiatives, promotions, and strategic business objectives.
  • Represent the company professionally in dealings with customers, business partners, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in branch operations, retail management, sales, or business administration.
  • Strong leadership, people management, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales, profitability, and operational performance targets.
  • Sound knowledge of branch operations, inventory management, financial controls, and customer service.
  • Strong business development, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and inspire teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using ERP systems (e.g., Odoo, SAP, or similar) is an added advantage.
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • A female candidate is preferred (for gender balance).
