Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Associate Project Engineer to support the full lifecycle of our engineering projects, from initial planning to final delivery. In this role, you will act as a vital link between project leadership, site teams, and contractors, ensuring that all work is executed on time, within budget, and in strict accordance with technical standards. The ideal candidate is a proactive engineer with strong site-supervision capabilities and a methodical approach to project documentation and safety.

Requirements:

• Project Execution: Assist in the planning, scheduling, and active execution of engineering projects to meet critical milestones.

• Progress Monitoring: Track project timelines and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery and operational efficiency.

• Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise effectively with site teams, sub-contractors, and internal stakeholders to maintain a unified workflow.

• Site Supervision: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that all engineering work meets established quality benchmarks and specifications.

• Technical Documentation: Prepare comprehensive project reports, status updates, and site documentation for management review.

• Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols and all relevant regulatory standards.

• Technical Support: Provide on-site troubleshooting to resolve technical issues and prevent project bottlenecks.

• Resource Tracking: Monitor materials, human resources, and project expenditures to prevent budget overruns.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: B.Eng or HND in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering discipline.

• Experience: Proven experience in project engineering or site-based engineering roles.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Hands-on knowledge of AutoCAD is considered a significant advantage.

• Mobility: Full ability to work on-site and a willingness to travel to various project locations as required.

• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach to tracking project performance.
