Job Description:

We are seeking an analytical, curious, and collaborative Associate Data Scientist to turn our raw data into a competitive advantage. You will not just be building models; you will be solving real business challenges by bridging the gap between complex datasets and actionable strategy. If you are a storyteller who can translate technical findings into clear, impactful recommendations for both engineers and business leaders, this role is for you.

Requirements:

  • Data Management: Collect, clean, and preprocess large-scale structured and unstructured datasets to ensure they are "model-ready."

  • Modeling & ML: Build, validate, and deploy statistical and machine learning models tailored to specific business problems.

  • Querying & Extraction: Write high-performance SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases.

  • Visualization: Design and maintain insightful dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools to track key metrics and performance.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to define data requirements and deliver analytical products that actually drive change.

  • Monitoring & Maintenance: Continuously track model performance and iterate on algorithms to ensure they remain accurate and relevant as business conditions evolve.

  • Documentation: Maintain rigorous documentation of your workflows and data dictionaries to ensure full reproducibility across the team.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

  • Experience: 2–3 years of proven experience in data analysis, BI, or data science roles.

  • Technical Toolkit:

    • SQL: Advanced proficiency in querying and joining large, complex datasets.

    • Languages: Proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation and modeling.

    • Visualization: Experience with tools like Tableau, Power BI, or libraries such as matplotlib/seaborn.

    • Machine Learning: Familiarity with frameworks like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.

  • Best Practices: Hands-on experience with version control tools (Git).

  • Communication: Ability to distill complex technical findings into clear, actionable business language.
